Welcome to our practice! Our doctors are all Mohs trained surgeons and board-certified dermatologists, who deliver cutting edge, outstanding medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care.

Though we are well-versed in the latest advances and use state-of-the-art technology, we never forget that friendly, personalized, ethical care for patients is the top priority.

For forty years, our physicians and staff have provided care to patients of all ages with disorders of the skin, including skin cancer. With our extensive medical and surgical training, experience, and passion, our dermatologists help keep skin, hair, and nails healthy, and healthy-looking, throughout your lifetime.

Our physicians have all earned MD degrees from accredited US medical schools and completed years of additional dermatology residency training to become Board Certified experts dedicated to this medical specialty. Scott Dale, M.D.

Dr. Dale sees patients in Flagstaff

SCOTT DALE, M.D., FAAD, joined this practice in 2002. He grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Carleton College. The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine awarded his doctorate in 1998. Dr. Dale interned in General Medicine, and completed Dermatology residency at The University of Chicago Hospitals.

Dr. Dale has been practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, at Northern Arizona Dermatology Center since graduating from the University of Chicago. Dr. Dale’s primary professional interest is skin cancer, but he enjoys treating all conditions of the skin, hair, and nails.

Dr. Dale is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He is passionate about music, food, and travel.

Brad Taylor, M.D. FAAD.

Dr. Taylor sees patients in Cottonwood and Sedona

Brad Taylor, MD, FAAD, received his medical training from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.  After completing his dermatology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Dr. Taylor served several years as the only active-duty dermatologist in Okinawa, Japan, before returning to Walter Reed to serve as Chief of Dermatology and consultant dermatologist to the White House, the Capital, and Congress.   Although retired from military practice, Dr. Taylor remains passionate about all things dermatology and could not be more excited about the opportunity to treat patients of all ages here in Northern Arizona.

Dr. Taylor took a non-traditional path to medicine.   He worked several years as a mechanical engineer before joining the U.S. Navy to pursue a career in military aviation.  For 10 years, he flew carrier-based jet aircraft on missions all over the world, including Operation Enduring Freedom.  Answering the call to a medical career, he completed medical school and specific flight medicine training. He served as senior Flight Surgeon and Aviation Medicine department head at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center and TOPGUN fighter weapon school in Fallon, NV prior to returning back to academic medicine and completing a dermatology residency.

Dr. Taylor enjoys the great outdoors and the Northern Arizona lifestyle with his wife, Lisa and two sons, Mason and Liam. After years of travel and military service, they are looking forward to finally settling down and calling Sedona and the Verde Valley their forever home.

Jordan Miller, M.D. FAAD.

Dr. Miller sees patients in Flagstaff and Sedona

JORDAN MILLER, M.D., FAAD, was raised in Joseph City, a small Northern Arizona town east of Flagstaff. He received his medical degree from The Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee. He completed his transitional years at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, also in Milwaukee. He completed his Dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, participating in the care of dermatology patients at Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital; Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the VA Hospital.

His residency included dedicated pediatric dermatology. After his residency, in 2009, he joined Northern Arizona Dermatology Center, practicing medical and surgical dermatology. Dr. Miller practices medical and surgical dermatology and sees patients in Flagstaff and Sedona. Dr. Miller also works as the Senior Medical Director of Dermatology for a successful medical software company, Modernizing Medicine, located in Southern Florida.

Dr. Miller and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children. In his spare time Dr. Miller enjoys all sports, especially Green Bay Packers Football, woodworking, riding his bike, hiking, reading and enjoying time with his family.

Kristina Paley, M.D.

KRISTINA PALEY, M.D., FAAD, received her medical degree from Cornell University Weill Medical College and her undergraduate degree at Hunter College in New York City. She completed her Dermatology residency training and fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to joining Northern Arizona Dermatology Center, she spent the past 6 years in Pittsburgh, PA, where she practiced general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Paley is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. While her primary interest is in Cutaneous Oncology, Dr. Paley is passionate about all aspects of dermatology, including general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and is dedicated to treating patients of all ages.

Originally from Latvia, Dr. Paley grew up in New York. In her time off, together with her husband and two children, Dr. Paley enjoys exploring nature through walking the trails of Sedona, cultivating orchids and scuba diving the deep waters of Hawaii.

Sara Risner-Rumohr, M.D.

Dr. Risner-Rumohr sees patients in Flagstaff and Sedona

SARA RISNER-RUMOHR, M.D., FAAD, is trained in medical dermatology, cutaneous oncology, and cosmetic dermatology and treats patients of all ages with a broad range of skin conditions. She is board certified in dermatology and is a diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Risner-Rumohr relocated from Houston, Texas to Flagstaff in fall of 2014 as she missed both her family and the Arizona landscape. Dr. Risner-Rumohr grew up in Tucson and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona. She completed her medical education at Vanderbilt University where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Risner-Rumohr then moved to Houston and completed a residency in Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine. After residency, she joined a private practice group in the Houston Medical Center and was a consult staff physician for the Houston Methodist Hospital.

In her spare time, she spends time cooking, running, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband (a urologist) and their two daughters.

Brendan O’Neill, M.D., FAAD.

Dr. O’Neill sees patients in Flagstaff

Brendan O’Neill, M.D., FAAD, As a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Dr. O’Neill completed his undergraduate training at the University of Delaware Honors Program and obtained a degree in Neuroscience. During his undergraduate training, he was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. He went on to complete medical school, Dermatology residency, and Dermatopathology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During medical school, Dr. O’Neill was awarded a Doris Duke clinical research fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern, during which he gained extensive clinical trial and research experience with a focus on lipodystrophy.

Dr. O’Neill is dual board-certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. He has completed extensive formal training in the histologic interpretation of skin biopsies, and is the laboratory director for our practice. This allows for close interaction with all of our clinicians, as well as accurate and timely clinicopathologic correlation.  Prior to joining Northern Arizona Dermatology Center, Dr. O’Neill practiced general dermatology in Denver, Colorado and Phoenix, Arizona.  He also worked with the largest private pathology group in Arizona in a high-volume dermatopathology laboratory.

Dr. O’Neill is excited to bring both his clinical background and his experience in dermatopathology to northern Arizona. He enjoys medical and surgical dermatology with special interests in melanoma, cutaneous oncology, and inflammatory dermatoses.  Dr. O’Neill lives in Flagstaff with his wife and two children.  Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, playing guitar, tennis, basketball and golf.

Kelly Czarnecki, PA-C

Ms. Czarnecki sees patients in Flagstaff

KELLY CZARNECKI, PA-C graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri with a B.S. and a B.A. in Biology. Ms. Czarnecki then attended the Arizona School of Health Sciences, graduating with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.

After receiving her Physician Assistant certification, Ms. Czarnecki worked in the field of Rheumatology for two years, then completed a postgraduate fellowship in Dermatology. She joined Northern Arizona Dermatology Center in 2006. Ms. Czarnecki enjoys the field of Dermatology because of the variety of patients, and surgical procedures.

Kelly Czarnecki and her family moved to the wonderful community of Flagstaff in 2005, and has enjoyed mountain biking, kayaking and the beautiful surroundings. She also enjoys cooking and yoga.

Elena Salpas, PA-C

Ms. Salpas sees patients in Cottonwood

Elena Salpas, PA-C graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minors in Spanish and Chemistry. She then graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School with a Master of Physician Assistant degree. After obtaining her Master’s degree, Ms. Salpas continued on to complete the Diplomate Fellowship Program with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Ms. Salpas grew up in Flagstaff, AZ and enjoys all the outdoor opportunities that Arizona has to offer, particularly kayaking, hiking, and camping.
